Lion Accountability Browser works by replacing your current browser and allowing you to add a partner or partners. As you browse the web, Lion detects any explicit websites or images and securely stores them in a log on your device. This log is then sent to your partner on a weekly basis, providing accountability and helping you develop better browsing habits. Additionally, Lion allows partners or parents to set up Parental Controls, blocking explicit websites and any additional websites they choose to add to the list. Parental Controls also enable the option to receive daily or weekly history logs.
Using Lion Accountability Browser can help reduce the temptation to visit explicit websites, promote healthier browsing habits, and enhance overall productivity. Privacy is a top priority, as Lion never stores website logs on their servers. All data is stored locally on your device and can only be accessed by the partners you have chosen.
For existing Lion Browser users, several improvements have been made. The detection of explicit websites now utilizes AI and Machine Learning, resulting in higher accuracy. The app has been completely rebuilt using Swift, ensuring faster performance. The tab system has also been revamped to provide a more familiar browsing experience. Additionally, bookmark sync to the cloud has been introduced, allowing seamless access across devices.
